Not in perfect condition but still very attractive. SBCV - 2551 3.48gm

This style of art is done under the philosophy of Spiritualism, True beauty is from within, much of the Byzantine portraits are done under this philosophy, not  detailed  , in many cases in Byzantine coinage the emperor is depicted almost as a stick figure.

 I think by this time period , the end of the empire, they got it to perfection. Simple and beautiful.
