Reverse: Tripod flanked by dolphins upward

Other: 12h ā€¦ gotta love the prow coins, eh?

Cilicia, Aigeai AE22
1st century BC
Diameter: 22 mm
Weight: 6.26 grams
Obverse: Turreted and veiled bust of Tyche right
Reverse: Horse's head left, ethnic above, monogram to right
Reference: Ex: Vecchi 14, lot 647
Other: Nice large flan ... a cool green-patina specimen with sweet eye appeal

Hey, here is today's gallery addition ... a pretty sweet example of the coin-type

Allectus. Romano-British Emperor, AE Quinarius

Diameter: 19 mm
Weight: 2.72 grams
Obverse: Radiate and cuirassed bust right
Reverse: Galley left, with mast; waves below; QC
Reference: RIC V 124; Rogiet 1027; Burnett, Coinage 1027
Other: 6h ā€¦ minor deposits ... superb example

Oh well ... on the brighter-side

=> my dog (Larry) managed to locate, eat and then destroy an opened tin of dog-food that I'd accidentally left on the kitchen counter (she's soooo fricken bad ... but man, she makes me smile)

NOTE => somehow she did "not" cut her paws or her mouth! (yup, she's an amazing dog!)

Other: sweet example of the type (great facial expressions on the captives)
