Wow, it's getting close to
Christmas, but this chemo-crap is making it a
bit harder to get into the ol' holiday spirit (makes sense I guess, eh?)
However, I am managing to get into the spirit a
bit and I've been able to order a bunch of presents on-line (I live in butt-north nowhere, so
shopping is a total hit and miss depending upon whether you want something homemade, or whether you want something that the rest of the population actually plays with, or wears!!) ... so again, some local presents are winners, but the selection is very limited, so on-line
shopping is a big thing where I live.
Yah, I wish everybody on my list wanted
ancient coins, then it'd be a no-brainer!! (easy-peezy
shopping for what you love, eh?) ... but mainly my wife has been my present-target ... I usually buy her a couple of first editions for her antique book
collection (a
collection that I also love, so I'm not sure it's not me that actually collects ancient books?) ... if so, I also buy her a bunch of hoodies and other can't lose winners that she asks for during the year (luckily, she hates
jewelry and expensive tastes, so overall, I think that I have a nice mix of fancy books and solid keepers)
... anyway ...
I'm bored and I can't sleep so I just thought that I'd just
type and say "hey"
Has anybody nailed any
good coin gifts and/or any
good spouse or kids gifts this year?
