Lionel Holland ascribes this type to the Dinar system of around 4.2grams, dated to possibly the Fatimid period.  See ANSMN 31, (1986) American Numismatic Society: "Islamic Bronze Weights from Caesarea Maritima", and "Weights and Weight-like Objects from Caesarea Maritima", chapter 8.  These are currently available for free on academia.edu.  Good luck!

Look at your weight once again.
This weight is not barrel-shaped but rather double frustrum-shaped.  Therefore it is definitely islamic not byzantine.
The mass of 4,17 grams based on 1 golddinar (exactly 4,223 grams). The golddinar is a quite common islamic coinweight.

Thanks Basil for the information, I thought it could be Byzantine because it came to me with a Byzantine coins lot I bought, and therefor the closest thought was a Barrel weight, Thanks again for the explanation and identification.
