The toning in the fields in the obverse makes Vespasian's portrait pop out. Nice.

Well, i am starting to be very weak toward these Syrian and Alexandrian Tetradrachms so i am going forward with this, as i saw This Macrinus tetradrachm and from Arados!!! i simply could not resist owning it and here it is, very strong portrait and nice toning:

Great coins,

Not that it lessens my appreciation of the coins, but do you think the patina is authentic? Hard for me to tell from the photos.

I ask that because there are many with that similar green colour floating around which are not.

@ Peter: I think that your concerns are ligitimate, and i would have the same feeling if i see them in the pictures but the way they were conserved gave them this Patina and i had the whole lot of 30 Byzantines that were found together authenticated.
