Small but nice Alexander III

17mm 4.4g  One of the better detailed coins of any era I own. To anybody reading this; do you recognize the mintmark? Also for the size and weight this is a bronze Drachma correct? I'm unsure on the last part because I have another the same size but weighs over 6g and I thought after the larger silver denominations that the next heaviest Alexander era coin was the bronze drachma at around 4g. Hope everybody enjoys. Good Day!

Thanks Pekka. Is there a name for the mint symbol? And maybe you don't know but would this have been lifetime issue?

Price dates this coin 330-320 BC, so most part lifetime.

Symbol is  :Greek_Alpha:  :Greek_Rho: monogram.

Not Arados (sorry Pekka), instead: . . .

As per Price 335, simply described therein as being: "Macedonian
Bronze Issues
" (ie: uncertain mint(s); Amphipolis, Pella, Aegae, etc.).

Monogram below (apparently some combination of: M, Π, and P).

Dated to his lifetime, 336-323 BC.
