Do you mean cutting and pasting both the obverse and reverse into the same image ?

What program do you have available on your computer, perhaps paint ?

Then you have a program called paint, this will work fine for the simple joining of two images.

I will mail you step to step instructions of how to achieve your goal.

If you click on your start button in the bottom left hand corner, you can then write "paint" in your search box.

As i metioned earlier, i will send you a step by step guide later on today showing you exactly how to cut and paste both images.

In the meantime try experimenting with paint, you might pick a few things up yourself.

Try this:

Open three paintbrush windows.
In the first one, open up obverse picture.  Hit ctrl+a to highlight all then ctrl+c to copy.
In the third one, hit ctrl+w and expand the size by 500 in each field.  If you can still see gray, do another 500.
In the third one, hit ctrl+v, which will paste your obverse.
In the second one, open up the reverse.  Hit ctrl+a to select all then ctrl+c to copy.
Back to the third one hit ctrl+v and then move the pasted reverse next to the obverse rather than on top.
Use the selection tool to crop the photo.  Hit ctrl+c to copy.
Open a final new paintbrush and hit ctrl+w, reduce size to 10 in each field.  If the white square is smaller than your photo, you’re fine.  If not, reduce size again.
Hit ctrl+v, then save.

I have already sent script these instructions including images showing the whole process already. If script is not willing to give it a try then there´s nothing else anybody can do to help.

(We have had quite a lengthy discussion via private messages as well).

Hopefully he will follow the instructions and give it a try, practice makes perfect.

Here a Rare Weight
the big problem is that i have thousands of items each with Photo No corresponding to the same No in the Word text, when i change the photo for combined photo,i have to give it new No ,in facto i have to give the same No to the text, for few items it's simple, but for several thousands,it's so hard...i will think about it...

I don't really understand what you're saying but most of the time when you're spending hours at the computer doing something by hand, there's a simple and usually free program (or a built-in function) that can do the same in a few minutes at most.

I think he means his cataloging system will have to change now that the photos are combined.

Why? Just save it in a new folder under the same name so it doesn't overwrite the old image.
