Sorry to hear that you have lost these two nice coins.
The category is here:

Thank you I did not look at the fakes section
maybe they turn up, in postal services but that is very unlikely

Sorry Eric, what do you mean they were deleted? Did they get lost in the mail?

Oh I see. But you posted them in October 2020. You've been waiting that long for them?

This is terrible news. I hope you receive them.

The LOST/STOLEN gallery does need a much higher profile to serve its function - even being added to the Resources drop down menu might be something.
It isn't even readily obvious that such a gallery actually exists and, as okidoki has pointed out, it is not easy to find anyway. As it stands I think that its functional usefulness in drawing peoples attention to lost and or stolen coins is comparable to that of a chocolate fireguard.

Even if the category is hard to find, it is a good thing that it is part of the Fake Reports. Many collectors look in the Fake Reports before buying a coin and will therefore "automatically" discover a stolen or lost coin.
-
The lost and stolen coins have some benefit.
When the owner of the coin spots it for sale, they can inform the seller that it was stolen. Assuming the report is more than a few days old and they have documentation of the purchase, they might get the coin back.
I once had the police contact me when they recovered a group of stolen coins (alongside a group of stolen guns). The coins that were in the reports were returned (several Byzantine solidi).

I do think it has some benefit, but only if members know where it is.
At the very least it should be added to the Fake Coin Reports drop down menu, though the Resources drop down menu would be even better.

It is probably one of the least important assets on this website; even one of the least important features of the fake coin reports. I think the menu's are OK as they are.
