I was asked by Alessandro Calciati to post this link. He and Massimiliano Bertelli have been working very hard to bring CNS online. The first segment (Volume 1) is done and looks great. See below:
http://www.calciati.org/Numismatics/Compendium/CompendiumHome.html
Below I post a comprehensive map of the Sicilian mints from the site.

Wow, great. I added the link to the Calciati page in NumisWiki.

This is incredible. A major effort to say the least!!! I am still keeping my set, though, which I got this past year!!!

Me too, since the print books are the true corpus with many more examples listed for each type.

Hi Nick,
Thanks for posting the good news! :)
I always wanted to obtain the print version, but I never got it.

I'm having trouble accessing Calciati online (http://www.calciati.org).
Browser keeps trying to download a file (and failing) rather than visit the site. Is it just me? I was visiting a lot about a month ago, using the link posted in Numiswiki: www.calciati.org/Numismatics/Compendium/CompendiumHome.html

I tried it with the same result.
If I select the subdirectory
http://www.calciati.org/Numismatics/Compendium/CompendiumHome.html
it downloads a .html file with some headlines, but nothing else

For anyone else who encounters this, the corrected link is http://www.calciati.org/Numismatics/Compendium/CompendiumHome.php

Confirmed! It’s a psp rather than a html file. Thanks, Jordan. That is good news. Calciati Online is a resource I do not want to lose. Between that and my new copy of Calciati’s Pegasi (coins of Corinth and its colonies), I am feeling well served.

Good news indeed.
I much prefer print, but Calciati is a reference i just can't afford. A very helpful link, thanks Jordan!

I only just noticed this and cannot imagine how I missed it. This is a wonderful resource - and I have bookmarked it. Thanks to everyone who has worked on it - what a great utility.
