Plate..
« on: April 24, 2022, 10:55:15 am »
Hello.

I found this little piece of a porcelain plate; i think it is over 100 years old but i would like to learn your opinions about it. What should we say about the accurate period  according to the patterns on it?

Sincerely

Hi Mahmud.  I don't know much about ceramics but I think this type of green glaze was in use from around the 9th-11th Century CE and later.  It is a very attractive piece.  I will keep looking, and maybe someone else will have an idea.

Regards, Jimi
