Help Gordian III Sestertius

(1/2) > >>

Tanit:
Hi,

This Gordian III Sestertius is the RIC IV 302. In the notes RIC writes: "Specimens on large and heavy flans in BM and HP Hall coll.".
This sestertius weighs 28.32 g. and measures 35 mm.
Does anyone have a link that shows the specimens of the sestertius from the BM or Hall coll. mentioned in the RIC?

Thanks

The style is so bizarre on that I doubt the authenticity of the coin.

SC:
This is by the same hand as the other sestertius I expressed concerns about.  Appears to be a modern tooling or hand carving workshop.....

Here is another sestertius of the same type. the coin is struck.
