Greek AE with Pegasos reverse
« on: March 23, 2023, 07:37:44 am »

AE 12mm.  1.50g.

Obv: Head of Herakles! right.
Rev: HPAKΛЄΩTΩN, Pegasos flying right.

Do you think this coin belongs to Herakleia ad Latmon or Heraclea Salbace?

Reference is also appreciated.  Thank you.

There are two (at least very similar) specimens in the BnF:
https://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb417753516 which is Waddington 1695
https://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb41775347z  where the legend seems to be quite similar to the coin here.
