Is this a seal?
« on: June 19, 2012, 08:26:24 am »
I have this small lead object that I think is a seal.  Any help appreciated.

12 mm long diameter.

Thanks

How do you know the composition is lead?

I am almost sure that it is made of lead.  It is made of heavy, soft, gray metal - not sliver.  This metal looks like lead.  The copper in the images are isolated blebs  that are in the matrix that is encrusting the object.
