I hope someone will second Robert Brenchley; the rules preclude my doing so.  P.L.

I nominate Jean Claude (Potator II) for his work as moderator of the French discussion board as well as his general knowledge of ancients.  His comments and contributions to the boards enhance the experience of many members.

Best, Noah

If it is at all possible, I'd like to nominate Pat Lawrence. She is a great help in more than one capacity (anywhere from provincials to art studies to digital photography) and a great person in general.

I'd like to nominate Salem for his posts in the uncleaned and Identification sections.  His knowledge of Judean coins is impressive and an all round asset to this forum.

Pat is no longer eligble since she already has the Perpetuua title.

I realize that now.  ;D I just think with all she does she should get...more? lol She helps me on almost every board I post on, and I am certain I am not the only one. (and seeing that it's not her "job" and all the time she puts in is her own, I don't want to start taking the help as a built in feature of the Forvm...I hope that makes sense)

Chris: What a lovely Christmas greeting you just gave me.  But Joe could do no more for me, nor could all of you.  It is not 'work' that I put in but rather (literally) re-creation: I mean, I'm retired, and Forvm is my principal link to an ever-expanding and international group of people who share so many of my interests.  It all started with Doug Smith and his web site (and all his generosity to a beginner) ten years ago, and Luigi (tacrolimus) urged me to join Forvm.  That leaves out some others, of course.  At first I was shy because of the art history, but Curtis helped me a lot with the history and numismatics, and Joe (and Jochen, too, and Gordian_Guy) were welcoming about the art history, which sometimes really can be important to a better, more complete understanding.  I think I also still owe thanks to the University of California, Berkeley, and to the American School of Classical Studies and to the ANS summer seminar (1958).  Pat L.

Thanks for your friendly words, Pat. And it is really a worthy list . ;) I want to second Archivum. His handling of Isegrim has added an unvaluable feature to our Forum.

Best regards

I am humbled and touched by such lovely nominations, especially "unvaluable," which pretty much covers all bases!  Apart from my distinguished nominators I think there's another who is eminently deserving but has also already been both nominated and seconded; should I just hold my fire till we actually put this to a vote?

Thanks Forums for the nomination  ;D I always feel honord to be in the list, I belive that two members should be in this list too who I think are more knowlagable than me and were a great help in this board  :D ,

Iwaniw : an Auther and extremly knowlagable in Alexandrian coinage.
Barry Murphy: an Expert and sharp eyes for fakes and Tough ID.

Merry Christmas and God bless you all.

Hi,

I would like to thank those who nominated me. It's a great honour, and Xmas gift as said by Patricia. I'm a bit shy now, being with so many beautiful people around me, and feel a bit like the fly in the plate  ;)

Have a nice time this end of year..
Cheers
