Byzantine Lead Seal - Need Help with ID

(1/1)

Kath D2:
I've scoured the sales for this and cannot find this one. It is most like Byzantine Theodoros Circa 11th century with St. George or late 12th century with St. Theodore, though neither of these has an inscription on the obv.
I have one more I am working on that I will post separately.
Thanks so much for any clues or direction you can give.
Kath D.

Gert:
St. Theodore on the obverse: Θ / ΘE/O-Δ/W/PO,

Reverse has an invocation, with the personal name on the last line:

KE ROH/[Θ]EI TW C, / ΔOVΛW / AΛ.

(Lord help your servant Al...)

Not many greek names starting with Al... so perhaps Alexander or, more common by this time, Alexios. The 3rd letter doesn't seem to be epsilon, so perhaps Al(e)x(io) or Al(e)x(andro)

Regards
Gert

Joe Sermarini:
Kath is off this week. Thanks Gert.
