Happy birthday and thank you, it is unimaginable what I could learn about this fascinating hobby and the history, with only participate in this forum.

I agree with Mario. Thanks for keeping this up. It's become an indispensable tool for my coin addiction. Frankly, my hobby couldn't live without it. Happy Birthday!

Having been here since the Boards were onlyu 6 mths old it has been a lot of fun to watch it Grow and become better and better. I really doubt I would even still be collecting if I had not found this place early on to Learn and share !

Thanks to all those that make this place GREAT!!

Happy Birthday !!

I've only been around for 7 months but I've learned more about ancient coins from the classical numismatics discussion board than any other resource to date. I wholly appreciate those who make this happen. Oh, and happy birthday!  ;D

Yes, once I had to Search way back in an effort to find something, and Forvm has indeed become more and more informed and, of course, international and, in the best sense of the word, scholarly: both beginners and experts alike devoted to real inquiry.  Pat L.

You said it better than I could. I probably wouldn't even have started collecting properly without FORVM.
I spend more time here than at all other sites (regardless of topic) combined.

So do I; if it wasn't for FORVM, I'd probably have lost interest long ago and saved all that money! It's definitely getting more scholarly; I remember a good deal of puzzlement long ago, over an unofficial Maesa hybrid which we'd get in nothing flat now.

For me FORUM is guilty of loss of time and loss of money, but guilty too of the possibility to meet wonderful people, of interesting discussions, of increasing knowledge and beautiful coins for my collection! Thanks for all!

Best regards

The Forvm has been a great help to new collectors, especially to my students!  I always cite the Forvm in my workshops on ancients!  Felicem diem tibi!

The text in the Latest Post column reads:

in Re: Happy Birthday Class...

Which is very appropriate!   I soon found this to be an excellent place to learn, with some remarkable teachers.

"... A form of twisted symbolical bedsock ... the true purpose of which, as they realised at first glance, would never (alas) be revealed to mankind."
