can I confirm the lettering on the reverse? "N-TIA"? To be this would indicate Constantia, but I can't find any Roman women with that on their reverse.

Is there any obverse inscription visible with the coin in your hand?

Also what are the size and weight of your coin?

regards
Dave

I don't have the coin yet, / in the process of negotiation /

As for me, on the reverse there is Venus holding a scepter and an apple, but the legend does not fit such a reverse, so consider whether it is not a copy of a denarius from the era.

Looks similar to #661 on Anokhin Imitations:

Counterfeiting among barbarian tribes
on the territory of modern Ukraine and Moldova.
Catalog of barbaric imitations.

661. Imitation of Denarius Faustina II. Place of find: Khmelnytsky region, Kamyanets-Podilsky district.
Metal: silver.

Thank you Pekka K for confirming my suspicions that this is a barbaric period imitation.
Only that I am considering, for the sake of the place of elevation / western Poland / the production of such imitations by tribes in this area, because it is not an isolated case found just there.

Please try and keep your posts cropped, not sure why there as to be such a long gap after your text.

Thanks

Unfortunately, I don't know why? After pasting the text from the translator, the record breaks with large gaps, then to make it in one sequence, I have to re-thread it, but a long blank section of the page is left anyway.
I'm sorry, it irritates me too, but I don't know how to eliminate it?

Excuse me.

One solution would be for you to post your comments and then click on modify (left hand corner of each post), move the cursor to the bottom of the page and keep your finger on the backspace key ( :arrowleft: ) until you reach your text, then save.
