The Twelve Caesars was written almost 200 years or so after Julius Caesar's demise, I think we can conclude the earlier parts of Suetonius are unlikely to be wholly accurate and would be colored by the propaganda of later rulers designed to further political interests long after a reign was over.
Putting things in perspective, how accurate would a book about the American founding fathers be today if there was limited or no access to original source materials apart from building inscriptions, no internet, and few libraries. Much would likely be based on oral histories and frightful fancy.
