Two portraits on AE10
« on: March 07, 2007, 05:02:11 pm »
Hi,

Please help me to recognize this AE10, 0.6g coin:
O: laureate man's portrait right
R: lady's portrait right.

There are some remains of legend on both sides.

Best Regards,
Explorer

The 'lady' seems to have a quiver sticking up behind her shoulder, which would be Artemis; her hairstyle is consistent with an ArtemisPat L.

Not the same, but related perhaps--from Lykia, Apollo and Artemis (a now-blocked online listing).
