Quite heavy for Tetricus II
(Cunetio average for 64 coins of this type was 2.38g).
Thus I suspected provincial.

Not provincial precisely, but a limes or barbarous imitation; someone else can address the distinction (or non-) between limes and barbarous at this advanced (3rd c.) date. Anyway, quite an interesting specimen.
Temper thy haste with sloth -- Taverner / Erasmus.

I agree, probably barbarous indeed. Mine is an example from France.
I've got also a thick example. A bit reddish and maybe even made of lead instead of copper....
