Here is another very tough one. I can't make much sense of either
side. The
obverse looks like it might have a remnant of a
nimbus cruciger, I can see what looks like the
arm of a
cross at 3 o'clock. The
reverse looks like a
cross with one letter in each quadrant, but even the two that are visible are by no means certain, since the correct orientation of the seal is questionable. I am
still looking for a parallel example to compare to it. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks, Jimi.
