Here's a new beauty. ATTICA. Athens. Ca. 2nd-1st centuries BC. AR tetradrachm (34mm, 16.94 gm, 12h). NGC XF 4/5 - 3/5, brushed, die shift. New Style coinage, ca. 148/7 BC, Ammo(nius) and Dio-, magistrates. Head of Athena right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet decorated with a vine scroll, Pegasus above solid upturned cheek flap / A-ΘE / AM/MΩ / ΔIO, owl standing facing on overturned amphora; kerchnos in left field, A below, all within wreath. Thompson 101a.

That Menander drachm is above awesome.  The attribution (HGC 12, 188. Bopearachchi 6c) is spot on. Here's more:  MIG 2 Type 221d; BMC 42; SNG ANS 9 #715-721.  Bopearachchi's examples of series 6c are coins #23 and 24 on plate 27.

Here's a nice addition. THRACIAN KINGDOM. Lysimachus (305-281 BC). AR tetradrachm (29mm, 16.97 gm, 11h). NGC Choice XF 5/5 - 3/5. Lampsacus, 297-281 BC. Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, with horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, Nike in right hand crowning royal name, resting left arm on shield decorated with gorgoneion boss, transverse spear beyond; aplustre to outer left, monogram to inner left. Thompson 48.
