Does anybody know this monogram?

(1/2) > >>

Rupert:
Here's a late Roman / early Byzantine coin from my collection which I would like to attribute. It has a diademed and draped bust on the obverse, to the right, the letters ...ANI can be read. The reverse has a monogram in a wreath; the monogram is neatly executed and does not look barbarian, but I found it neither in RIC Vol. X nor in Sear. Can anybody identify this monogram? Thanks in advance,

Rupert

Rupert:
Here's the monogram once more.

Rupert:
Hey friends, I've found it ! (now that I posted the question just today...) It's a nummus from Ravenna or Rome with the monogram of the Ostrogothic king Athalaricus (526-534). Live and learn! :)

Rupert

Rugser:
It is the monogram on the nummus of Athalaricus of the autonomous mint from  Rome struck (c. AD 529-530) in the name of Justinianus I.
