Vespasian's Ephesus denarius - Ceres
« on: November 21, 2011, 08:35:01 am »
Among Vespasian's denarii, I especialy like those struck in Ephesus, because of their typical powerful portraits.

This is the last addition to my Flavian collection, coming from an italian auction, just received today.

I like to share it with fellow Flavians.

A very beautiful denarius. Ephesus struck the most "artistic" portraits IMHO.

That is a beautiful coin, but that reverse is magnificent. Congrats. :)
