Greek and Roman pottery fragments
« on: November 24, 2013, 05:51:18 pm »
Hi,

Had a good day today at the end of the local monthly fair. The dealer on the next table said "are you interested in pottery?". Picked up a box of Greek and Roman pottery fragments that included some nice, albeit small, black figure bits, a handle with a stamp, a piece of black pottery with grafito, several lamp fragments, etc. Detail of a swan, an unidentified bird and a foot, I love them all!

Regards,

Mauseus

Great stuff.  I have been able to picks through some bins of terra sigillatta fragments and buy a few cheap pieces of pottery but that looks like it was a great bin.
