Good evening! Is this vase fake or genuine one?
If genuine, is it possible to date it?
Origin - Petra in Jordan.
Thanks a lot for the help!
With best wishes,
Sergey.

Is it stone or clay?

The vase is from clay.

If it is ancient, when you splash a few drops of water on it (or touch it with your tongue) the wet spot should very quickly disappear.  Ancient clay pots from that area are extremely dry and soak up water much faster than modern fakes.
