Anglikom chyba zaczęło się żyć lepiej po odejściu Rzymian. Zwiększyła im się długość życia, bo nie musieli płacić podatków :-)
Niestety do przeczytania artykułu trzeba zakładać jakieś konto, wiec nie wiem, co tam pani badaczka badała. Być może szczątki ludzkie, być może dane metrykalne (raczej to pierwsze). Pytanie, czy badana próbka była statystycznie reprezentatywna - jeden przebadany cmentarz więcej i może się okazać, że wyniki wyjdą zupełnie na odwrót. A poza tym z jaką dokładnością możemy przeprowadzać tego typu badania? Skąd wiemy, czy zbadany szesnastolatek nie był wyrośniętym czternastolatkiem?

Very interesting. Thanks. I have seen quite a few coins with IΣ but never researched it. I look forward to getting an IΣ coin on consignment and trying to write a short one paragraph comment about it.

Svoronos listed these as his #1917 as cast barbarous imitations. I believe these are now thought to be regular issue later AE from Ptolemaic Cyrenaica. Lorber's CPE II (still in preparation) should clear this up. The English translation for Svoronos 1917 is attached.
