This Tiberius Aureus has my favourite bust variant for the type. Enjoy the coin  :)

TIBERIUS (14-37)., Aureus.
Obv: TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS, Laureate head right.
Rev: PONTIF MAXIM, Livia (as Pax) seated right on throne, holding sceptre and olive branch.
Mint: Lugdunum

18mm 7.79g

RIC² 27; Calicó 305a.

By the Gods. that is an excellent coin. The barely worn condition combined with a finely detailed portrait of the famously troubled but capable emperor makes it a super desirable piece.  It would be star in any ancient coin collection, so I'm suitably jealous.....

This resplendent golden Roman aureus definitely gets the five-star treatment from me. It’s what we’re all hoping to own someday as collectors and what Roman officials could only dream of receiving.
