Coin from Herculaneum
« on: May 31, 2023, 01:02:09 pm »
I bought an old bronze coin from an official bookstore in Herculaneum. On one side, there is a man with a wreath and some letters or numbers - it looks like OSOK. On the reverse side is the wolf or fox.
Could someone help me with its identification? How old it could be? Who is this man?

Hi,
It may be from an official book seller but sadly the coin is a modern fantasy cast piece I'm afraid.

Sorry,

Thanks for the information. The coin wasn't expensive (only a few euros). For me, it's mainly a souvenir...
