AS85626. Gold Bracteate or Repousse Ornament
1.073g, 24.4mm
Previously identified by a reputable dealer as:
Greek, 3rd - 1st Century B.C.
Gold Repousse
Facing bearded and horned head of Zeus.  
No references given.

I am not entirely confident of this attribution and I am seeking opinions, comparable items, and references.  Thanks.

To me the style does not look at all ancient, but rather quite modern.  I think it is fake.  It also appears to be cast.

The first thing I thought of when I saw it was the Bocca della Verita in Rome, although stylistically it's very different.
