Stop Here First - 2004 Forvm Numismatic Excellence Award Poll
Pep:
Welcome to THE Final Polling for the 2004 Forvm Awards For Numismatic Excellence! We will be awarding a gold logo to the site that receives the most votes, silver to the second most-voted, and bronze to the site that comes in third in votes.
Please read the following carefully: We want you to vote for three sites from the list of finalists above. However, the board programming will allow you to pick only one in a given poll. So, to get around that we have set up three polls. This is the first poll. Vote for one of your three sites here, go to the second poll (URL listed below for you convenience) and vote for another site, and then go from there to the last poll and vote for yet another site. This will give you the ability to vote for three sites but please be sure to vote for a different site in each poll. Then, at closing time we will count the votes up across all three polls.
I also locked the reply feature in the second and third polls so if you want to post any comments about this finale, do so here.
Thank You and Happy Holidays,
Kevin :)

Nomination statistics:
The Awards Committee received a total of 26 Member Nominations for this year's award, totaling 130 votes. A total of 29 sites received nominations. On behalf of the Committee I would like to thank those members who helped get us to this point.
The 9 sites listed in these final polls are the ones that received the most votes in the nomination process. Congratulations to the owners of these sites! No matter what the outcome, the membership of Forvm has agreed that the hard work you have put into creating a resource for collectors of the ancients has been recognized and appreciated, and your work stands above the norm. For freely sharing your expertise in such a fashion with the Numismatic Community we thank you, and good luck to all in the polling.
For the sites that did not make the final nominations this year, we thank you for your contributions as well. Your work and dedication to the love of this hobby are no less appreciated, as indicated by your original receipt of the Forvm Award for Numismatic Excellence. As this year's winners must demonstrate a significant expansion of the content of their sites to be eligible for the awards again in coming years, there stands an excellent chance of seeing your site in these polls the next time around.
Thank you and congratulations to all.

Pep:
HEEEEELLO Forvm Members! We only got 70 hours left before the big vote for this year is over! We got Dr. Tom B, ACV, The Beast, The Spreadsheets; we got Probus and Parthia, The Wind, Snible and finally The Ultimate Mama's Boy! We give you the opportunity to vote for three, not one, but YES three sites so read the easy instructions above on how to do this! Vote now and I'll even throw in the kitchen sink (plumber enters with sink and promptly drops it on his foot, curses as he leaves the camera's view)! And that's not all, act now and you will be guaranteed the peace of mind that you helped give the sites you have benefited from our ultimate seal of approval - gold, silver and bronze recognitions! They can't be used to vacuum the floor, tone your abs, slice potatoes paper thin or roast a chicken in ten minutes but boy do they provide something much more spiritually fulfilling for their recipients! Act now, Joe's server is standing by to receive your votes!
