My not-so-ancient medieval coin gallery

St. George's Collection:
Hi,

Have been adding a decent amount to my galleries over the past few years.  The theme is medieval coins of the British Isles, with a touch of Scandinavian and French thrown in.  Still working on photography technique and some of the descriptions.  It remains a work in progress.

Great collection. I am very impressed, especially with your Scottish coins  ;) .

Anaximander:
Great gallery!  Love all the high grade and the portrait coins. Wessex is especially well represented.

My medieval collection is actually quite similar, but without the Irish/Scottish element, and  adding in crusaders. My British selection ends in the Tudors. I stick to the hammered coins, whereas the Stuarts start in with the presses.

And speaking about a work in progress, my medieval collection isn’t yet online.  ::)
Just moved to South Carolina and I’m up to my neck in boxes. I will have to reshoot the coins and upload (one of my many 2020 resolutions).
