RIC X 3202
« on: October 08, 2021, 02:25:42 am »
Hello,

Still working on Zeno, i need to see the copy sold in sale Sotheby Geneva 1989 lot 138. Its the refrenced for Solidi of Zeno without dots but A. RIC 3202 says ''Also Sale 194.138 = Vedrin hoard 55''. Is that mean the coin from Vedrin is the copy sold by Sotheby?

Hi,

Is it coin 5 from the Hunter plates?. You might also be interested in Dumbarton Oaks 629 where A is cut over a B.

Regards,

Thanks,

Its the coin 9 of Hunterian. With COMOB. I finally found a picture. The other coin you send is from Constantinople and is interesting! Thanks. Do you have the specific references for this coin? Size and weight?

Hi,

Do 629, Constantinople mint, 4.47g, 20mm, 180 degrees die axis, T 11, R 277. I was wrong when I said officina was A over B, it is actually A over gamma.
