Roman glass bead??

Came by this glass bead. I don´t know anythig about items like this one - but I think it might be Roman. What do you say about that?

More important still, is it authentic?

I´d be happy to hear your oppinions!

The style looks more Islamic or Turkic to me but I am no bead expert.
