Happy Sunday to All!

One addition today:

Vitellius Denarius RIC I 71 (Scarce).

Also, I have updated several coins with respect to size/weight/scarcity (Gave me a good excuse to fondle my treasures!)

that's a nice Vitellius Mark. even though it is worn the face is still very expressive... good addition.

Hello All!

Two additions today:

Valerian I antoninianus RIC Va 278 with some silvering remaining and actually nicer than I remember it.

Marius antoninianus RIC RIC Vb 19, fully silvered (and very difficult to get a good pic of!).

Your comments and ratings are, as always, much appreciated!

Regards,

mz

p.s. many thanks again to Mr. Curtis Clay for looking in on my little collection and correcting some attribution errors! :)

Hello All!

Three very exciting additions today:

A large Constantius I follis with nearly full silvering.

A heavy Lucius Verus sestertius with Verus on the reverse holding standards.

A nearly unique Elagabalus dupondius that is unlisted in RIC and features a note from Mr. Curtis Clay.

Your comments and ratings are appreciated!

Regards,
Mark Z.

Hello All!

Hope you all are having a great week so far!

Today's addition:

Geta AE30 of Serdica, Thrace.

17.13 g, 30 mm

Varbanov 2568, Serdica, Thrace

AVT K P CEPTIMIOC GETAC, laureate head right

OVLPIAC CEPDIKHC, Serapis seated left, kalathos on head,
reaching out to pet three-headed dog Cerberus at foot left, & holding sceptre.

This one is very rare. I'd appreciate the experts chiming in as to the relative rarity, though.

i have to agree with Bud. even though Roman coins aren't really my thing, i thoroughly enjoy browsing through your gallery Mark.
what impresses me the most is the quality and the great variety, especially the harder to find emperors and usurpers. obviously a labor of love, and it shows.
my sincerest congratulations.
