ID help with greek coin
« on: May 20, 2007, 02:20:33 pm »
I have been having a really hard time with this greek all I know that it is from Maroneia, Thrace and it has a horse on the obverse and vines on the reverse. Most of the coin I have found have a   :Greek_Omega:  N opposed to N  :Greek_Omega:  . Does it make a difference? The coin is only 12 mm.

At Maroneia, they sometimes give the legend in a quite irregular way or retrograde, see the examples from wildwinds. So I don't think that it has anything to say.
