I do not know why she is riding

as I remember She was originally Tanit or as a Moon Godess...
and later the romanized name was Dea Celestis or later Juno or Juno Celestis.. but I do not know why she is riding on a lion ?

Are you explain to me ?:)

Dea Celestis was the Roman name for Tanit, the highest godess of Carthago. By the Romans she was identified with Kybele too and in this function she was potnia theron, the Mistress of the Animals.
