« on: September 06, 2011, 12:23:41 am »
Having a hard time here, Venetian imitation, I think late Byzantine, but get confused with Bulgarian groschs.

20mm, .84 gm

Thanks

A rare Bulgarian imitative grosh from 1300-1330 AD.
ACENV - ACENI (Asen tsar) - times of Theodore Svetoslav or Michael III Shishman.
