Meaning of ΘS at end of Tiberius II Constantine solidus legend

Over the years, these light-weight solidi have been attributed to Antioch, Constantinople, and Thessaloniki. In his 1982 book 'Byzantine Coins' Grierson states that the characters ΘS at the end of the reverse legend signify the mint of Thessaloniki. Yet in 2022, some major auction houses are attributing them to Constantinople.

I am looking for clarification on this, recent scholarship.
