Roman ? lead seal

This is a fragment (13 x 18 mm) of a lead seal showing two cherubs holding an unknown object between them.  I assume it is Roman but I don't know.  I bought it in Jerusalem.

I know little about lead seals but the design seems more Roman era.  Do you know of the use of cherubs on Byzantine seals?
