Rare Commodus sestertius with natural patina.

Hello,
A rare (with an untouched patina) sestertius for Commodus. Portrait is top class. Coin is much better in hand especially for the details on the reverse.
This is a variant for both RIC 377 and Cohen 14 due to the reverse legend with ANNO instead of the "usual" (a rare coin by all means) ANN.

Thanks, Joe.
I think it is time to have a look again at bronzes. They have been butchered (frequently for good reasons - false patina, heavy retouching, etc. -) but when you have the right "couple" i.e style and natural patina ......
