Boy, you've been busy Jay! Really nice to see you got that 'o' mint Domitian. A damn fine example.

Two Egyptian Faience Ushabti's added.

21st Dynasty, 1069-945 BC:

600 BC with Demotic inscription:

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-138319

I've looked online for help in translating the demotic inscription but it's really tough.  Not sure if I'm starting in the right spot!  Demotic is read from right to left but I'm not sure which way is up.  In my reserarch I've found that the script can vary greatly depending on the penmanship of whoever was writing.  I believe it should be turned so that the feet are on the left hand side so that it looks like a "4" in the middle of the inscription

Added a fairly rare Domitian today from 88 AD.  RIC lists this one as R2.  Bought as a run of the mill Domitian with Minerva advancing reverse.

Great portrait and rather inexpensive.

IMP XV is a rare acclamation for Domitian, apparently soon superseded by IMP XVI. Only four denarii with that title are recorded, all rated R2 by RIC.

I find such rare titles interesting to collect, more so than coins which are rare just for a particular combination of titles, though their individual tribunician, consular, and imperatorial numbers are all common in other combinations.

Thanks Curtis, RIC cites one COS XV re-engraved over an COS XIIII from Berk!  So the changes in titles certainly was coming very quickly!

Very cool find Jay!

I have two coins from the same issue: RIC 593 (purchased at the coin market in Madrid - Plaza Major!) and RIC 594.

Congrats

An awesome acquisition! IMP XV are sort of 'grail' coins for Domitian collectors. I'm glad you got one with such a great portrait, more stylish than my example.

Great Flavian additions Jay! I really like that early Domitian portrait, quite different.

Very nice additions Jay. Thanks for sharing. All nicely toned.

I find the Domitian portrait interesting.

I like the Vespasian also. I prefer my eagles standing on thunderbolts to branches!
