It is not easy to measure that, because the corrosion, but look like 1mm aprox. the thickness of the iron part.

Rusted iron is hard to measure.  The easiest way is if there is a clear gap in the bronze parts where the iron fit.

1mm is too thin for a fire starter.  they are usually 4 mm or wider.  I think it was a razor handle.

The whole thickness of this oject are 4,5 mm, and the clear gap beetween the bronze part only aproxx .

it means maybe you right it is looking like razor..
