Title: "You are not allowed to send personal messages."

What should I do to answer the personal message?  I read the FAQ, but still is unable to understand what is wrong.

Sending personal messages is limited to active members of this discussion board.  Since this is only your second post, you are obviously not an active member.  You cannot send or respond to personal messages.

It seems the board software unfortunately allows messages to be sent to new members, but not for those new members to then reply to them! It'd be better if it was symmetrical.

I agree symmetrical would be better but it only takes three posts to become a legionary.  I think almost everyone that tries to send a PM before they have even three posts, is a SPAMMER (Not that I think shaddy is).
