Granted, there is no hard and fast evidence to say so. Given the importance of the 'healing deities' (
Asklepios, Hygenia, Telephorus) at this city (indeed the entire
area) - I understand that Glykon is yet another aspect to the healing deity group - and the
style of the image, I can't really see what else it could be.
However - I take your point so perhaps it would be best to have the term Glykon in brackets indicating that there is uncertainty.
