Fake Coins and Notorious Fake Sellers / Re: Fake coins?

Many of the fakes above are covered in the die linkage montage. There appear to be a couple of coins that weren't covered in the coins that I saw at the time.

Kind of funny, just did another search for this book and this came up as a result. Still looking for the complete book. Every few months I look, every few months I can't find it. If anyone knows of a copy I won't have to mortgage my house for, let me know.

CPK,

Wonderful acquisition from an important collection. I really love it when coins come with the handwritten tags of former owners. Sometimes, in my mind, the tags are worth possessing almost more than the coins.

All the best,

Tracy

Thanks! I do agree with you, especially when the tags are from important/old collections. I bought the Turner coins essentially for the labels.  :)

Yes many many known fakes flooding the market. Maridvnvm has warned us since 2007 about these forgeries. He even created a die-linkage with many of them. They were even sold in batch of 1000 !

Seller has multiple offers similar to this, are they modern fakes?
Especially the first row seems very suspicious to me,
what do the experts on the forum say  ;)
