unknown coin from NE Germany, winged beast Obverse - electrum(?) - 2cm

Hello all!  I hope everyone is having a good day.

I joined today because yesterday my detector and I dug up this coin not far from my house on a cart track alongside what used to be a Church. The bell of said church was relocated to nearby village and bell is 750+ years old at least. 

The coin itself if roughly 1mm thick, Hammered.  2cm in width/length.  Material appears to have a golden hue to it possibly made from Electrum?  Coin is not cleaned only coated in a layer of Renaissance Wax.

The Obverse depicts an Winged Beast of some sort (griffon, dragon??)
The Reverse has a Shield bordered with a Cross, some detail on shield is visible but has some copper corrosion.

Writing on the edges on both sides is visible but as a total novice means nothing to me, I am not familiar with the style of text.

If anyone could help with the ID that would be great
