Hi,

Not the greatest condition but I was pleased to get it. I have recently acquired my first and only early imperial quinarius. I am rather partial to the scarcer fractional denominations when I can afford them.

Trajan 98-117 AD
AR quinarius
Obv "IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC"
Laureate, draped and bust right
Rev "PM TRP COS VI PP SPQR"
Victory walking right holding wreath and palm branch
Rome mint
RIC 351var, King 42 (4 examples), Strack 231

Regards,

Mauseus

That is pleasant, and I love the detail in the ship. Being predominantly a collector of Carausius and Allectus I do have a few of these in my Forum Allectus gallery but most not as good as yours.

Mauseus
