Hi folks,

I just edited and/or re-formatted the text in numerous Medieval Italy and Medieval Sicily pages.

I am now finished editing and/or re-formatting the text in my Byzantine, Crusader, Medieval Italy, and Medieval Sicily pages.

Hi folks,

About 6 weeks ago, I finally finished swapping out my sub-par (blurry) photos. I actually did 2 "run throughs". It took me a long time.

In the past 6 weeks, I re-cropped my photos that needed to be re-cropped. I also edited and/or re-formatted the text in my website pages.

I still need to add more sections to my website.

However, before I can do that, I have some new arrivals that I need to post in my website.

But before I can even do that, there is something else I need to do. Some of my website pages are a mess. This is particularly true for my Greek Italy, Campania, Neapolis pages (both silver and bronze) and my Medieval Italy, Genoa pages. I have too many A and B pages. It is a result of adding too many coins since I initially posted my website pages. I need to "clean them up". Also, one of my Medieval Italy, Milan pages needs to be split.

Hi folks,

I just split my Medieval Italy, Milan, Part 7 page into 2 pages. That page was getting too crowded. I created a Part 8 page.

Hi folks,

I just re-organized all of my Greek Italy, Campania, Neapolis, Bronze pages. I got rid of all those A and B pages (I had 3 of them). I also split 3 pages. I now have 10 pages. Of course, I had to re-number all of my photos and edit my text. It is a very time-consuming and tedious process. It took me more than 3 hours.

Hi folks,

Today, I re-organized all of my Greek Italy, Campania, Neapolis, Silver pages. I got rid of my Part A pages, and I split several pages. I now have 10 pages. I also moved a few coins to different pages. Of course, I had to re-number all of my photos, edit my text, and move blocks of code. It is a very time-consuming and tedious process. It took me more than 4 hours.

Hi folks,

Today, I re-organized all of my Medieval Italy, Genoa pages. I got rid of all of my A pages (I had 4 of them). I now have 13 pages. Of course, I had to re-number all of my photos and edit my text.

Next, I need to re-organize my Medieval Italy, Colonial Genoese pages. They are a mess. I have too many A pages, and at least one page needs to be split.

Hi folks,

Today, I re-organized all of my Medieval Italy, Colonial Genoese pages. I got rid of all of my Part A pages (I had 2 of them). I also split one page. I now have 9 pages. Of course, I had to re-number all of my photos and edit my text.

I think I am finally done re-organizing my website pages, for now. It is possible that I may do more in the future, but I am done for now.

Next, I need to add my new arrivals. These are coins that I received within the past 2-3 weeks.

Hi SM1,

Thanks for the message.

Believe it or not, that coin was in the dealer's list of unsold lots. No one bid on it in the auction. I purchased it from his list of unsold lots. I even negotiated a lower price too. I got it for significantly less than the minimum bid.

Hi folks,

Today, I added one coin to each of my following website pages:

Medieval Italy, Colonial Genoese, Part 1, Caffa (first coin):

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/meepzorp/mi_gencol_pt01.htm

Medieval Italy, House of Savoy, Part 2 (fourth coin):

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/meepzorp/hs_pt02.htm

These are new arrivals. I received them within the past 2-3 weeks.

I also swapped out one photo I posted yesterday because it was blurry.

One photo I posted today (Caffa reverse) needs to be re-cropped. I will probably do it later tonight.

Hi folks,

As some Forum members know, I began working on my project in circa November 2012. I began working on my website (which is Phase III of my project) in November 2015. I think I reached another milestone today.

As I mentioned here recently, I finally finished updating my previously existing website pages and photos a few days ago. I swapped out my sub-par (blurry) photos (2 "run throughs"). I re-cropped my photos that needed to be re-cropped. I edited and re-formatted my text. I re-organized and split numerous pages and photos. This process took me 2-3 years (I think).

With that aspect of my project behind me, I can now turn my attention to adding new sections to my website.

I still have several more sections to add:

Modern World (after 1800)
Modern Italy (after 1800)
Renaissance Medals & Medallions
Antiquities

I haven't added any new sections to my website in 2-3 years. Today, I began that process.

I created a Modern World (after 1800) section and added one page to it.

I added an Argentina - Austria page:

Nice start for the new sections. I look forward to seeing the modern coins as you add them.

Hi folks,

It is time for a status report.

I last posted here on 12/21/21. That was almost 2 months ago. At that time, I had just begun posting coins in my newly created Modern World section.

Then, the holidays came. Then, some things came up that I had to take care of, which caused me to get backed up on things. It took me all this time to get caught up on everything. I am now about 98% caught up on everything. As a result, I should be able to resume working on my website again sometime in the next few days.

Obviously, I need to add more coins to my Modern World section. Right now, there is only one page in that section.

However, before I do that, I have some new arrivals that I need to add to my website.

But before I can even do that, I noticed that some of my website sections are a mess, and I need to address that issue. In particular, my Roman Imperial, Octavian/Augustus pages (both silver and bronze) are over-crowded and disorganized. I need to re-arrange and re-organize those pages. I will probably need to create more pages. I also think that I need to split my Greek Italy, Bruttium, Croton page. All of those pages have become over-crowded and dis-organized as a result of adding coins since I first created the pages. For example, regarding my Roman Imperial, Octavian/Augustus bronze pages, there is one moneyer (Gallus) that is literally split between my first page and second page. And I have more Augustus coins to add to my website in the coming weeks. I need to correct all of these issues before I add any more coins to those pages.

Hi otl,

Thanks for the message. :)

Yes, I am a perfectionist. And I have always been that way.

I wish I felt better though. Yesterday, I received my Covid vaccine booster shot (my third Pfizer shot). And I am feeling today. I woke up today with everything hurting me. I feel like I got attacked with a baseball bat. I also have a headache, and I feel nauseas. Usually, these symptoms let up within 48-72 hours.

Hi folks,

Today, I re-arranged and re-organized 4 Roman Imperial, Octavian/Augustus, Bronze pages. I also created one new page. I converted Parts 4-7 into Parts 8-12. I do them in reverse order (from highest part/page number to lowest) so as not to create any conflicts with my photo numbers.
