Three ancient Egyptian New Kingdom tombs discovered near Luxor

  Dating to the New Kingdom period (1550–1070 BC) the newly discovered tombs were uncovered near the Valley of the Kings. However, the tombs belonged to non-royal officials who must have been influential, if not powerful, members of ancient Egyptian society in their time.
